Maya is a Virginia native that grew up in a real estate family and has lived in Stafford, Woodbridge and now Fairfax City. Her husband has his masters in Real Estate development and her mom has been a realtor for close to 20 years. Maya is now a Realtor on her Mother’s team, The Rubio Group.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Maya specialized in Marketing and Business Development for a few startup companies, including one that was in the moving and logistic space. Because of this experience, she completely understands how pivotal of a decision moving can be and the stress that can accompany it. Maya also cheered for the Washington Redskins for 6 years, with her last two years being a Captain. During her tenure on the team, she traveled to over 10 countries on Military Appreciation tours supporting our Military troops worldwide. However, her absolute favorite part of being on the team was working with many charitable organizations such as Wounded Warriors, Make a Wish foundation, and the Special Olympics.

Maya is a Military wife and a proud momma! Her husband served active duty for the Air Force as a Combat Controller for 10 years, and is now a reservist. She proudly supports our service members and is so grateful for all they do for our country.

Maya says that she will never forget the wonderful experience she and her husband had with their Realtor from The Rubio Group while buying their home in Fairfax. Her hope is to provide her clients with the best experience and make home buying or selling as seamless as possible.
